Our Mission
As noted earlier, the Salt Christian College, Dimapur was started in 1991 with a view to impart quality higher education in Humanities. As a policy, it has been continuously striving towards achieving milestones in the following crucial areas:
To develop and maintain high academic standards in conformity with changing national educational policy frameworks.
To instill a competitive thrust in the hearts of students so that they are able to withstand competition in a complex job market.
To play a crucial agency role in knowledge circuit and assist students in realizing their individual and collective potential to a fair degree.
Lastly, to evolve a platform for fostering team spirit and support the members of the faculty in enhancing their proficiencies and sense of dedication in accordance with changing pace teaching-learning process.
Our Vision
The college management has been contemplating to introduce B.Sc. Programs in near future. Also, in due recognition of the current unemployment scenario and highly degree of competition in job markets, the college authority has decided to launch mandatory coaching classes of 1(one) hour duration for 3rd year(5th & 6th semester) students on all working days after completion of their regular academic classes. The objective is to give them necessary tools and inlay a basic foundation in outgoing students for facing various competitive examinations conducted by recruiting boards
